The Best in the West

I'm super excited to be taking part in the upcoming Portobello West Fashion + Art Market on November 24th and 25th. If you aren't familiar with Portobello West, it's a market that happens four times per year and which features tons of awesome Vancouver designers and other local businesses. Some of the wares include home decor, clothing, baby items, yummy food stuffs and yes - jewellery! Of course, with Christmas around the corner, the upcoming Portobello West Market is the perfect opportunity to take care of some of your Christmas shopping all while supporting local businesses and finding some unique and one-of-a-kind items for that special someone on your list.

Here are the details:

Date: Saturday and Sunday, November 24th & 25th
Location: Creekside Community Centre, 1 Athletes Way
Time: 11am - 5pm
Admission: $2 - or receive 2 for 1 admission with the Portobello post card, above

Some definite must-sees at the market include Green With Envy, which sells gorgeous mini terrariums, air plants and other botanical wonders; Think & Ink Studio, which creates fun and whimsical stationary and paper products including note cards and postcards, and Coconama, which makes delicious truffles using fresh ingredients like raspberry puree and green tea - yes, these are as yummy as they sound!

As for me, the next week means major crunch time in terms of getting lots of pretty sparkly pieces made for the show and the holiday shopping season. Of course, it goes without saying - if you come to the market, be sure to come by our table and say hi!
