I see so many fantastic and creative ways that you fashionistas love to store and display your jewels - everything from vintage tea cups on your dresser, to cute fabric-covered pin boards.

Alas, while those might be fun way to put some of your baubles on display, it's not necessary the best way to store your jewellery. Light and air can cause the metals of your pieces to tarnish and we've all opened our jewellery boxes to be greeted by a tangle of chain and un-paired earrings. To help keep your jewellery pieces in great condition - untarnished and nicely sorted - I recommend storing your favorite items in small ziploc bags. You can pick up a pack of 100 for just a few dollars at most jewellery supply or craft stores.

It may not be glamorous, but trust me, your jewellery will thank you.
